WorkSmart Career Clubs are designed to move beyond one-time career exposure experiences by creating small learning communities where students engage with industry and professional mentors multiple times throughout the year.
Through sustained mentorship, hands-on projects, and real-world learning opportunities, students deepen their understanding of career pathways while building skills and confidence for their future.

WorkSmart SpotLights Bulletins provide pathway-aligned career awareness by delivering engaging, grade-level guidance connected to each student’s Career Club.
This targeted approach helps students explore options, build direction, and strengthen motivation while providing educators with practical strategies to integrate career connections across academic subjects.
SpotLights reinforce learning and support the broader Career Showcase system by connecting exploration with real-world preparation.

WorkSmart Career Showcase serves as a capstone experience where students demonstrate career readiness through portfolio evidence, presentations, and project-based learning aligned to their Career Club pathway. By integrating learning from Career Clubs, SpotLights Bulletins, and work-based experiences, the Showcase provides measurable evidence of skill development, career exploration, and postsecondary readiness while celebrating student progress toward future goals. Showcase participants also present to and mentor middle school students, helping them build leadership, presentation, and communication skills while inspiring the next generation of learners. Career prizes are awarded to recognize student achievement, growth, and excellence. Industry and professional representatives serve as judges and may identify students for future opportunities, further connecting learning to real-world pathways.
