WorkSmart Network Chapters

What is a WorkSmart Chapter?

  • A WorkSmart Chapter is a school or community-based student organization focused on career exploration, workforce readiness, leadership, and real-world learning experiences.
  • Students participate in career-focused activities, projects, mentorship, workplace experiences, and community engagement opportunities connected to their interests and future goals.
  • Similar to organizations like SkillsUSA, 4-H, and other student clubs, WorkSmart Chapters help students build confidence, teamwork, communication, leadership, and workplace skills while exploring future pathways.

How do chapters work?

  • WorkSmart Chapters are led by local advisors, teachers, mentors, or community leaders who help guide students through career-connected activities and experiences throughout the school year.
  • The WorkSmart Foundation provides a flexible framework of resources, activities, projects, challenges, and career-connected opportunities designed to help students strengthen workforce readiness, leadership, communication, teamwork, and employability skills.
  • Each chapter may operate differently depending on the school or community, allowing local advisors flexibility to create experiences that best fit their students, schedules, goals, and available opportunities.
